Dr. A.King Ang is the Chairman & CEO of AK International and TranscriptionWorld. He received his degree in medicine from the University of the East in the Philippines in 1976. He completed his surgical residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit in 1988 where he earned numerous awards as an outstanding resident for two years during his training. He is the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and currently the Vice-Chief of Staff at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.

MYRA M. ALMARIO R.M.T, M.T
President & COO

Myra M. Almario is the President & COO of TranscriptionWorld Philippines. She is a Registered Medical Technologist graduated from University of Santo Tomas in 1979. She worked as Chief Medical Technological at St. Michael Hospital in Bulacan for 10 years and later on put up and managed her own laboratory, Three Kings Diagnostics Medical Laboratory & X-ray also in Bulacan. She also mentors the Basics and Applications of Medical Transcription. She passed the Trainers Training Development Course by TESDA.

ARLENE M. ANG, R.N., BSN
Vice President-Marketing Director

Arlene M. Ang graduated from San Juan De Dios College of Nursing in 1978. She earned units in Master in Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She worked as an OR nurse at the Metropolitan Hospital before leaving for America. She also worked as an OR nurse at Sinai Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center. A very active leader in school and civic organizations in the U.S. Currently the Vice President of Michigan Surgical Specialists, Vice President of AK International, and CEO of FilCare Placement in Canada. She is also Vice President-Marketing Director of TranscriptionWorld, a Filipino-American Medical Transciption Company.

RONALD G. AURE
Chief Information Technology Officer

Ronald G. Aure has 10 years of experience in Network Administation Engineering, Systems Administration Engineering, Security Administration, Database Administration, SAP Basis Administration, Technical User Support, Project Management and Training Delivery prior to his current position as Chief Information Technology Officer of Medical Surgical Specialists based in Michigan,USA.

Mr. Aure holds a Bachelor Of Science degree in Computer Engineering.

KATHLEEN NOVARA, R.N.
Chief Medical Transcription Editor

Ms. Novara is a Registered Nurse and has been in the profession since 1977. She has spent the first eight years of her career working in the obstetrical field and Labor and Delivery Unit of a large hospital in Detroit, MI. Most recently, She worked in the O.R. at Huron Valley Sinai Hospital in Michigan since 1988. That job has become her secondary position. Her primary employment since 1991 has been in management for Michigan Surgical Specialists, overseeing two surgical practices (one in General Surgery, and one in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery as well as Hand Surgery). Her experience in medical transcription goes back to a time before she was in nursing. She began working for a group of orthopedic physicians as their transcriptionist, and have continued to do the transcription for Michigan Surgical Specialists.
